Twitch Profile Integration

If you have your Twitch linked to DodoCodes.com, your twitch stream will now show up on your DodoCodes profile. You can link your Twitch by editing your profile and clicking the Connect Twitch button. Once your account is linked, anyone who visits your dodo profile will see your stream. Please make sure you read the Rules and Guidelines outlined at the end of this guide. Players found in violation of the guidelines will have their Twitch stream removed from their profile and will not be able to add it back. 

ACNH Twitch Section

We have an all new section dedicated to promote Animal Crossing: New Horizons twitch streamers. We hope this new section will help connect players together with other ACNH players in the community, as well as help promote the amazing streamers who help keep the ACNH community alive.

Free to Use Animal Crossing Twitch Overlays

DodoCodes.com has created three overlays (more coming soon!) for you to include in you Twitch ACNH streams. These overlays are fully customizable and can be tweaked to fit better into your color scheme, style, fonts, and more.

DodoCodes Profile Overlay

The user information overlay allows you to show off your follower count, badges, ratings, friend ID, dream address, number of codes / designs / auctions / giveaways shared, and more.

To begin setting up this overlay, open up OBS Studio, right click in our "Sources", hover over "Add", and create a new browser overlay.

In the properties, set the URL to the following:

https://dodocodes.com/twitch/YOUR_USERNAME/overlays/profile?animation=zoomInLeft

Don't forget to change "YOUR_USERNAME" to your DodoCodes.com username. This is NOT your Twitch username.

Set the width to 400 and height to 800. 

You can edit the animation used to display this overlay by changing the zoomInLeft to any of the following animations: https://animate.style/

Click "OK" and your overlay should display! Feel free to move this around, resize it, etc. If you know CSS, you can create some custom CSS to better fit the overlay to the style of your stream.

DodoCodes Alert Overlay

The alert overlay allows you to show your viewers when players visit your island, win your giveaways, and more. 

To begin setting up the alert overlay, add a new browser overlay to your scene. 

Open up OBS Studio, right click in our "Sources", hover over "Add", and create a new browser overlay.

In the properties, set the URL to the following:

https://dodocodes.com/twitch/YOUR_USERNAME/overlays/alerts

Don't forget to change "YOUR_USERNAME" to your DodoCodes.com username. This is NOT your Twitch username.

Set the width and height to the size of your stream. In most cases this will be 1920x1080.

Click "OK" and your overlay should display!

DodoCodes Giveaway Overlay

To begin setting up this overlay, open up OBS Studio, right click in our "Sources", hover over "Add", and create a new browser overlay.

In the properties, set the URL to the following:

https://dodocodes.com/twitch/YOUR_USERNAME/overlays/giveaways

Don't forget to change "YOUR_USERNAME" to your DodoCodes.com username. This is NOT your Twitch username.

Set the width to 512 and height to 800. 

You can edit the animation used to display this overlay by adding animation, animationIn, animationOut, and align as parameters.

For example: https://dodocodes.com/twitch/YOUR_USERNAME/overlays/giveaways?align=left&animation=tada&animationOut=zoomOutLeft&animationIn=zoomInLeft

1. animation: 'zoomInRight', (this is what animates the x # of giveaways, minutes until next giveaway)
2. animationIn: 'zoomInRight', (this is what controls when a giveaway pops up with 1 minute left)
   
3. animationOut: 'zoomOutRight', (this is what controls how the giveaway disappears when it ends)
   
4. align: 'right' (this is what controls the alignment of the text. 
   

You can chose any of the following animations: https://animate.style/

Click "OK" and your overlay should display! Feel free to move this around, resize it, etc. If you know CSS, you can create some custom CSS to better fit the overlay to the style of your stream.

• Any promotion of hacked items, treasure islands, or similar behavior is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate ban without warning.
  
• You must comply with DodoCodes Terms of Service and Nintendo's Terms of Service at all times.
• You must familiarize yourself with and comply with the Nintendo Game Content Guidelines for Online Video & Image Sharing Platforms
• You must familiarize yourself with and comply with the Nintendo Documents and Policies and Nintendo Code Of Conduct
• You must familiarize yourself with and comply with our Etiquette and reputation guide.
