Two of the new items in the January update included the Bokjumeoni lucky pouch and the Lucky Red Envelope.
Villagers were previously unable to accept Bells as gifts from players. However, after the 1.7.0 update, villagers can now accept them if wrapped in a Lucky Red Envelope or a Bokjumeoni Lucky Pouch.
The new items available at the Nook Stop include Lucky Red Envelope, Lunar New Year Decoration, and Bokjumeoni lucky pouch.
To put bells in the lucky red envelope, you must click the envelope in your inventory, select "Wrap", then select the amount of bells you would like to put in the envelope.
Once you have added bells to a lucky red envelope, it becomes "Lucky Money" you can now gift to your villager!
To add bells to the Bokjumeoni lucky pouch, you must click it while in your inventory, select "Wrap," then select the amount of bells, just like the process with the lucky red envelope.
Once you have added bells to a Bokjumeoni lucky pouch, the item becomes Sebaetdon, which you can gift your villager!
