All new Animal Crossing: New Horizons update 2.0.4 introduces 11 new zodiac figurines

Animal Crossing: New Horizons version 2.0.4 was released by Nintendo introducing 11 all new zodiac items: rat, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster, dog, boar, and pig. Nintendo had released the zodiac tiger figurine in the version 2.0.0 update, so this new 2.0.4 update completes the set.

The new zodiac figurines, part of the Miscellaneous category, can be obtained from Nook Shopping Seasonal for 1,600 bells during the New Year's Day (Asia) event.

The missing zodiac, the Tiger, was added in version 2.0.0.

Gyroid Updates

Data miner asteriation noted on their website some gyroid updates unique to the 2.0.4 update:

"Starting with 2.0.4, there is a 30% chance regardless of weather of a gyroid fragment appearing on your beach each day. This can only happen once you have successfully grown a gyroid fragment into a gyroid."

Fixed Issues

• Fixed an issue where the ”ladder set-up kit” could disappear when the game was saved with the “ladder set-up kit” placed on the diagonal cliff on the third tier of a cliff formation.
• Fixed an issue where under ”Seasonal Recipes” for DIY recipes, the ”maple-leaf rug” and “frozen floor tiles” were not being displayed under the appropriate seasons.
• Other fixes have also been made for more enjoyable gameplay.

Fixed Issues related to DLC

The following issues related to the paid DLC Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise have been fixed.

• Fixed an issue where facility members wearing clothing that uses Custom Designs appear to not be wearing any clothing.
• Fixed an issue in ”Showroom”, where uploading player’s facilities after visiting another player’s facilities resulted in members of player’s facilities appearing as island residents that visited the facilities.
• Other fixes have also been made for more enjoyable gameplay.

Aeon, another data miner in the ACNH community, noticed the winter 2021 event contained a game version of 2.1.0 instead of 2.0.4 (20100,22,Winter2021,2.1.0 2021冬パッチ). This could mean a 2.1.0 update is coming in the future, or simply a miscommunication internally at Nintendo when the event was created. After all, Nintendo did mention there wouldn't be any more major updates to the game, so a minor bump from 2.0.3 to 2.0.4 may have at one time been versioned internally as 2.1.0.
